Account, privacy and security
How Klicktify handles your data, how to reset your password, how to delete your account, and what data café owners can see.
There are two types of Klicktify account: a merchant account (the café owner who registers at klicktify.com/register) and a member account (the customer who joins a café's loyalty programme). They are separate systems with separate login credentials.
A merchant account is authenticated via the NextAuth session and has access to the café dashboard. A member account is authenticated via the member session and is used to manage your café memberships and wallet.
For merchant accounts: go to klicktify.com/sign-in and click Forgot password. Enter your email and you'll receive a reset link.
For member accounts: the member account is tied to your phone number or email. Go to the sign-in page and use the same contact method you used when you joined. If you can't sign in, contact the café directly — the café owner can help troubleshoot or reset your membership.
When you join a café's loyalty programme, the café owner can see: your name, your contact details (phone or email), your points balance, your tier, your join date, your check-in history, and any tags the café has applied to you. They cannot see your activity at other cafés.
Your password and account settings are never visible to café owners. They can see and manage your membership at their café, but not your Klicktify account settings.
You can unsubscribe from a café at any time from the Account Settings section of the storefront (look for the Settings link in your wallet). Unsubscribe removes your membership at that café — your points and history at that café are deleted. Your account and your memberships at other cafés are unaffected.
To permanently delete your member account, go to Account Settings and click Delete Account. This removes your account and all your café memberships across every café on Klicktify. This action cannot be undone.
Deleting your account does not affect the data café owners have already recorded in their own business records. It removes your account from Klicktify's systems.
Klicktify stores your data on Neon (a cloud Postgres service). We do not sell your data. Your contact details are used only to operate the loyalty programme and, where you have opted in, to receive updates from individual cafés.
Klicktify is registered in Malaysia (company reg. 202601000123 / 1456789-X) and complies with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).
