We're seven people. Every person here ships features that real café owners use the next morning. We don't have a growth team, a platform team, and an infrastructure team — we have people who care about the product end-to-end. That means more autonomy, faster iteration, and a direct line between your work and a café owner's smile when a customer redeems their first reward.

Senior Frontend Engineer

You'll own the customer-facing side of Klicktify: the merchant dashboard, the member experience, and the public storefronts that cafés customise. We work in Next.js 15 and React 19. You care about performance, accessibility, and the 200ms that separates a delightful interaction from a frustrating one.

What you'll do

Build and maintain the merchant dashboard (React, Next.js, Tailwind CSS)
Own frontend performance budgets and Core Web Vitals
Collaborate with the product designer on interaction patterns
Write tests — unit and integration, not just e2e smoke tests
Participate in on-call rotation for production incidents

What we're looking for

5+ years of frontend engineering experience
Deep React knowledge — hooks, Server Components, concurrent features
Strong CSS skills — you should know what cascade means and why it matters
Experience with TypeScript in a production codebase
You've shipped something that real people use and can describe what you learned

Nice to have

Experience with Next.js App Router in production
You've worked on SaaS or developer tools before
You can read a Postgres query and have an opinion about indexes

Product & Design

Product Designer

Klicktify has one designer. That designer works directly with engineers, café owners, and customers. You won't have a research team to hand off to — you'll do your own usability testing, sit in on customer calls, and ship. If you want to spend six months on a design system before touching production, this isn't the right role. If you want to see your Figma file shipped to 400 cafés next week, it might be.

What you'll do

Experience designing for mobile-first consumer or SME products
Basic HTML/CSS knowledge

Customer Success

Customer Success Manager

You'll be the primary relationship owner for Klicktify's merchant accounts — independent cafés, kopitiams, and small chains across Malaysia. Your job is to make sure they succeed: from the first QR code setup to running their first birthday reward campaign. Onboard new cafés — typically a 30-minute video call, then follow-up
Run regular check-ins with active merchants (monthly for growth accounts)
Identify cafés at risk of churn and run re-engagement campaigns
Feed product feedback to the engineering and product team
Write help articles, onboarding guides, and email sequences

What we're looking for

2+ years in a customer-facing role (CS, account management, or sales)
Comfortable with technology — you'll need to help café owners troubleshoot QR scanner issues
Written and spoken Malay and English
You can hold a conversation with a 60-year-old kopitiam owner and a 28-year-old specialty coffee barista

Nice to have

Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot, Intercom, or similar)
You've worked in F&B or retail before
Basic understanding of how loyalty programmes work

Backend Engineer

Implement Stripe billing: subscription management, webhooks, and billing portal
Build the integrations layer (FeedMe, WhatsApp messaging)

What we're looking for

4+ years of backend engineering experience
Strong Postgres knowledge — you know when to use an index and when not to
Experience with TypeScript in production
You've built and maintained a public API before
You understand idempotency, race conditions, and why they matter in loyalty systems

Experience with Neon Postgres or similar serverless Postgres
You've worked with Stripe before

Marketing Content Writer

You'll write blog posts, help centre articles, email sequences, and the occasional landing page — always with the voice of someone who understands the realities of running a small Malaysian food business.
